  • A panel discussion hosted by BS4CL Africa and PRME Chapter Africa at the Casablanca Climate Leadership Forum on 24 October 2024. Sherwat Ibrahim, PRME Chapter Africa Chair will moderate the session. Panelists include Chinwe Ajene- Sagna, a member of the PRME Chapter Africa Steering Committee | Chourouq Haisni from ESCA Ecole de Management | Tanya Dos Santos Ford from the Gordon Institute of Business Science | Dina Abdel Fattah from the American University in Cairo Business School.

  • The 3rd annual Dean's Roundtable is being held in Casablanca at ESCA Ecole de Management prior to the Casablanca Climate Leadership Forum 2024.  Deans from the six schools who founded BS4CL Africa will be attending, namely: American University in Cairo School of Business, Egypt | ESCA Ecole de Management, Morocco | Gordon Institute of Business Science, South Africa | Lagos Business School, Nigeria | Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa | Strathmore University Business School.   • On 30 October, PRME Signatory Members across Africa gathered for the 2nd Annual Roundtable for Business Schools for Climate Leadership (BS4CL) Africa, an initiative launched last year during COP27 in Egypt in collaboration with PRME Chapter Africa and BS4CL Europe. The event was hosted by the American University in Cairo (AUC).

  • Six leading African business schools launched the Business Schools for Climate Leadership Africa (BS4CL Africa) initiative to build a collaborative framework for climate action that can transform business education curricula to match the needs and adapt to the realities of the African continent.

  • Business schools are joining in the urgent call for more ambitious climate action during COP27. Six leading African business schools are recognizing the critical role that higher education can play in addressing climate change and its associated challenges, and launching a new initiative with the African Chapter of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in response.
